poker

A preparation for controlling pests in various crops

Poker is a natural product of a microorganism in the soil. The preparation is absorbed into the plant tissues and is absorbed by the pest mainly through the digestive system. All material remaining outside the leaf tissue decomposes within a few hours. The mechanism of action of Poker for insect control is unique and unlike that of any other insecticide. Poker affects the insect’s nervous system, as a result of which the insect loses its ability to eat immediately after exposure to the substance. Mortality occurs 2-5 days after eating. The substance is toxic to bees only upon direct contact; once it penetrates the plant and the residues decompose, poker is no longer toxic to bees. The substance is toxic to fish.
